Maas Group Family Properties is one step closer to commencing works on their major mixed-use development after submitting the Development Application on the 3rd April 2018 to Dubbo Regional Council.
Plans for the $114 million dollar development were initially released to the public in November last year and were received by the local community with
overwhelming enthusiasm and support.
“Since presenting our plans to the local community, we have received many positive comments about the development. The feedback we have received though
social media posts, phone calls, business enquiries and face to face discussion with our team has been nothing less than overwhelming support and encouragement
to keep going and to make this happen for Dubbo and our region,” Maas Group Family Properties General Manager Steve Guy said.
The further consideration of the project with various professionals and Council sees the completed development now boasting contemporary ground floor retail
and upper level commercial office space over-looking Macquarie Street, 290 serviced apartments and up to 60 residential apartments. The developments
construction will be staged in its delivery with 500 on site car parking spaces provided by the completion of construction Stage 1.
The Liberal Development is set around the local heritage item of the Old Bank Restaurant which will be redeveloped at the rear and side to provide for
a pedestrian lane and outdoor forecourt for the enjoyment of shoppers, diners and workers as they experience a thriving cafe, restaurant and retail
strip adjoining Macquarie Street.
“We’re confident that this development will transform and positively add to the main street of Dubbo. We believe it will be one of the most iconic projects
west of the Blue Mountains and will continue to highlight to the rest of NSW the significance of Dubbo as a regional business centre.” Steve added.

will be the right fit for the Dubbo CBD as it and our region grows.”
With demolition complete, Maas Group Family Properties have worked with Council and technical consultants since November to ensure the development meets
all planning requirements and pending approval, construction is currently planned to commence later in 2018.
